The Computing and Technology pathway covers the principles underlying the use of information technology and its production and control. You will gain an understanding of the fundamentals of computing, electronic communications and networking and how these contribute to solving complex problems across a range of settings. You will also consider how economic and technological developments affect the environment. You will undertake contextual and theoretical analysis, and will have the opportunity to formulate a degree pathway option specialising in a particular field of study. You will develop communication and presentation skills to articulate your visual and verbal response to the course and will learn practical techniques in your chosen field.
