Orientation and Registration

Student Registration is an exciting time at CRIC. We ask all new students to attend the compulsory registration sessions.

During registration we will check your documents, enrol you on your timetable & you will register for your student card. You will also be involved in social activities to help you settle into your new city and meet new friends.

To prepare your student card please email a digital passport photo to: icentre@anglia.ac.uk

  • make sure you put your name and University Student ID in the subject line (you can find your student ID number on the top of your CAS). We advise you do this before you arrive.

Please can you make sure you bring the following documents to registration with you:

International Students must bring UK and European students must bring
Passport Original Passport / Birth Certificate or a National Photo ID Card
Visa/Biometric Residence Permit Proof of Indefinite Leave to Remain, Permanent Residency or the Right of Abode. If you have any queries in regards to this

CAS statement Student Loan Entitlement letter (if sponsored by Student Finance England/ Student Loan Company)
BRP Visa Decision Letter / Email (that accompanies entry vignette) Or proof you have submitted an application to Student Finance England / Student Loans Company
Original Academic and English Qualifications (your qualifications you used to apply for your visa, example IELTS certificate, school certificate, diploma, references etc.) These must be originals not photocopies. During Orientation and Registration you will have the opportunity to get involved in various social activities, below are examples of what you will be doing when you first join us.

  • Campus Tour with a CRIC ambassadors to help familiarise you with the campus
  • Scavenger Hunt of Cambridge City to get to know your new city
  • River Punting in Cambridge
  • Tenpin bowling & burger meal at the Junction
  • Summer Picnic and Football in the park

Where should I go for registration?

Please check your offer letter and CAS which states which campus you will be studying on. Details of where you need to go are below, however you will be emailed before arrival with lots more information about registration and arrival so please check your emails!
